Russian Visa for Czech Republic

E-visa for Czech Republic

Russia is a popular destination for international tourism and has been receiving increasing attention in recent times. Getting into the country has now been made easier with the introduction of the new electronic visas for Russia, which allows Czech citizens and other eligible nationals to visit specific Russian regions. There’s good news for you if you’re a Czech citizen who is looking to travel to Russia. According to the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Russian Federation started issuing eVisas to nationals of a wide range of countries, including the Czech Republic. The electronic visa (eVisa) grants these travelers access into the regions of St Peterburg Leningrad and Kaliningrad through the respective border crossing points.

Through these territories, travelers from eligible nations can get a visa for a stay of eight (8) days. Travelers should note that the eVisas only apply to the regions of St Petersburg Leningrad and Kalinigrad and doesn’t extend to other parts of the Russian Federation. If one obtains an eVisa for Kaliningrad, for example, and decides to visit other regions of Russia (including Kaliningrad), they will need to apply for a separate relevant Russian visa in order to be granted access to territories outside the St Petersburg Leningrad region.

How to Visit Russia with an eVisa

Holders of the Kaliningrad visa, and St Petersburg eVisa from the Czech Republic must enter and leave through a checkpoint in the same constituent entity of Russia as the one through which they entered.
