Russia e-Visa Requirements for North Macedonia

There are currently three eVisas types for Russia available to Macedonian passport holders. While a general tourist visa is expected to be rolled out sometime in 2021, three regional eVisas are available today with a straightforward application process.
Far Eastern Federal District Visa For Macedonians
The Far East eVisa is valid for up to eight days. Once granted, the traveler must enter Russia within 30 days or they will be required to apply for an entirely separate visa.
Should any Macedonian traveler wish to visit a separate district, they must obtain a second visa that allows them to do so.

Primorsky Krai, Kamchatka Krai, Khabarovsk Krai, Zabaykalsky Krai, Sakhalin Oblast, Amur Oblast, Chukotka Autonomous Okrug, Buryatia
Each traveler must provide the following documents and information in order to receive a Far East eVisa:
A Macedonian passport. The passport must be valid for at least six months and have one blank page
Medical insurance for the entire trip
A passport-sized digital photograph
Kaliningrad Oblast E-Visa for North Macedonians
The Kaliningrad Oblast eVisa for North Macedonians allows travelers a stay of up to eight days in the region.
Should they wish to visit another area of Russia, a separate visa will be required. The visa is only valid for 30 days once it has been issued.
The Kaliningrad Oblast ports of entry are as follow:
Air: Khrabrovo airport (Kaliningrad city) Sea: Baltiysk, Kaliningrad city, Svetly
Rail: Mamonovo, Sovetsk
Road: Bagrationovsk, Gusev
The following are requirements for each individual applicant:
A Macedonian passport that has at least one blank page and six months of validity remaining before it expires
A valid email address
A debit or credit card
A digitalized passport photograph
St Petersburg Leningrad Visa for Macedonian Travelers
A valid St Petersburg Leningrad eVisa will allow Macedonians the opportunity to visit the region for up to eight days.
If they wish to extend their trip or visit another region of Russia, they must have a separate visa. Once issued, the visa is valid for 30 days before it expires.
The St Petersburg Leningrad ports of entry for Macedonians are:
Air: Pulkovo airport (St Petersburg)
Land: Ivangorod, Svetogorsk Brusnychnoe, Torfjanovka
Sea: Vysotsk, Passenger Port of St. Petersburg, Marine Station
There are certain requirements for the St Petersburg Leningrad eVisa:
A passport with one blank page and six months before the expiration date
An email address to send the approved eVisa
A credit card or debit card to pay the fee
A digital copy of a recent passport photo
How to Obtain a Russian Visa as North Macedonians
Once the appropriate visa has been selected according to the applicant’s intended trip tp Russia, an application form for a Russian eVisa must be properly filled out. Each piece of information must be double-checked before submitting the application as any wrong details will result in the delay or rejection of the visa.
The following documents and information are requirements for applying for a Russian eVisa:
- Full name
- Passport details including expiration date and number
- Contact details including email address as the visa will be issued via email
- Date of birth
Once a successful application has been submitted, Macedonians should expect a response in up to four days. Authorities allow applicants to apply up to 20 days before their trip so it is best to plan ahead to avoid any problems.
